| UCR Board reponds to Fed Register March 2 |
The Board of Directors of the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement (UCRA) has the authority under federal statute to provide for the administration of the UCRA. See 49 USC §14504a(d)(2). We request all of the UCRA States to refrain from assessing or collecting any fees for the 2010 UCRA Registration Year until the Board has had the opportunity to consider FMCSA’s Notice of Regulatory Guidance, to be published in the Federal Register on March 2, 2010. The UCRA Board will consider the FMCSA Notice at the Board’s next meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Avelino A.
